Senior Rotating Equipment Specialist

Job Summary This is a senior subject matter expert(SME) role to support the Maintenance Superintendent in themaintenance of all rotating equipment on the site.

The candidatemust be able to provide SME knowledge, experience, and leadershipfor this role. Utilize their broad range of skills and experience : - Lead and manage routine and major services on Reciprocating gascompressors and Reciprocating Gas Engines.

• Root Cause analysisinvestigations. - Provide SME expertise and knowledge. - Ensuremaximum uptime and reduce business losses.
• Execute strategiesdeveloped by the Maintenance Excellence Manager. - Create andimplement safe, reliable, efficient plans for rotating equipmentmaintenance.
• Introduce condition monitoring technologies. -Provide input for rotating equipment budget. - Coach and assessjunior technicians.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee and driveimplementation of the maintenance plan and performanceimprovements. - Lead all reciprocating rotating equipmentmaintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Leadmajor overhauls and interventions on reciprocating rotatingequipment. - Extensive experience in fault finding on reciprocatingrotating equipment.
• Extensive experience in overhaulingreciprocating rotating equipment. - Develop reliability plans forall rotating equipment.
• Ensure all activities undertaken by themaintenance team follow the CreDan and regulatory HSSE standards. -Deploy condition monitoring tools and methods to improvereliability.
• Improve equipment reliability and availability. -Drive production improvement for the plant through investigation oflosses and deep understanding of rotating equipment performance.
• Deliver main equipment overhauls against agreed plan and costs.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - A minimum of 15 years’ experience in asenior rotating equipment maintenance position in the oil & gasindustry on reciprocating rotating equipment, specifically gasengine compressor packages.
• A minimum of 5 years leading teams inmaintenance and overhauls. - Comprehensive troubleshooting oftechnical issues is a must.

Subject matter expert (SME) inmaintenance techniques on gas engines and gas compressors andassociated equipment. - Proven tuning and setting up of gas enginesand gas compressors.

• Mechanical Technical Institute educated. -Preferred candidate will have in-depth Waukesha 275GL experience,Caterpillar 3500 and 3600 series experience, and Ariel gascompression experience along with major overhauling experience.
• Preferred candidate shall have extensive knowledge of theWaukesha’s-Ariel Compressor Package and ancillary systems, andshall have an in-depth knowledge of the operations and controls ofpackages.
• Preferred candidate shall have extensive knowledge ofthe Caterpillar 3600 series-Dresser Compressor Package, mechanicaland ancillary systems, and shall have an in-depth knowledge of theoperations and controls of packages. #J-18808-Ljbffr
