Overview

Execute and coordinate Reliability-related activities, looking for optimization by proposing the the best cost-effective alternatives through trade-off analyses and reasoning.

Specific responsibilities of the role :

• Being in charge of all RAM aspects (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) of Products, Projects and Tender execution;
• Manage Reliability (RAM) activities on Projects, Tenders and / or Product Development, ensuring communication with the involved teams;
• Perform technical Reliability Engineering (RAM) activities on Projects, Tenders and Development of Products, by applying the Reliability (RAM) Process, Methods, Standards and Guidelines;
• Carry out Reliability (RAM) calculations, predictions, verifications, statistical estimation, produce plans and reports;
• Make Design, Maintenance and Operational recommendations to meet Reliability (RAM)targets;
• Defend choices in front of customers and / or internal teams;
• Put in place a RAM Monitoring process during Operations & Maintenance phase and issue KPIs;
• Work on Continuous Improvement, by supporting the creation of of integrated systems;

Qualifications & Experience

Synthesis of TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (hard skills)

Group 1 of hard skills : Engineering, Maintenance, Product & Project execution related

MANDATORY (MINIMUM set of skills)

• Understanding electrical / wiring schematics, Analog & Digital Electronics, Probability & Statistical concepts; Electrical / electronic hardware;
• Electronics at board level, troubleshooting; Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics; Identification and analysis of failures, diagnosis, troubleshooting;

DESIRABLE (it is a plus)

• Knowledge in project management; Knowledge in Reliability Engineering techniques; Knowledge in RAMS techniques; Design Reviews;
• Reliability calculations & modelling; Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) calculations; Able to carry out statistical analyses, inferential and descriptive statistics;
• Preparation of Maintenance plans, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance tasks; Preparation of Maintenance Manuals;

Group 2 of hard skills : LANGUAGES-related

MANDATORY (MINIMUM set of skills)

English language required for reading and writing;

DESIRABLE (it is a plus)

English for conversation is a plus; Spanish is a plus;

Group 3 of hard skills : SOFTWARE & OFFICE APPLICATIONS

MANDATORY (MINIMUM set of skills)

Knowledge of MS-Office Suite; Advanced skills on MS-Word and MS-Excel are required;

DESIRABLE (it is a plus)

• Desired experience with Reliability related tools (ReliaSoft BlockSim, Aralia Fault Tree, ITEM Toolkit, Weibull ++ etc );
• Desired experience with Statistical-related tools; Visual Basic for Applications (MS-VBA / macros); Languages / tools for Data Analytics (MS-Power BI, Qlik Sense, );
• JavaScript, Python; Web based languages are desirable;

Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Strong analytical problem solving & communication skills. Proven team player and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds, functions and cultures, working with cross-discipline teams and communicating with customers and partners.

Synthesis of EDUCATION / BACKGROUND

MANDATORY (MINIMUM set of skills)

• Bachelor’ degree on : Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Electronics Engineering; Mecatronics Engineering;
• Automation Engineering;

DESIRABLE (it is a plus)

Technical High School degree; Electronics, Electrical; Automation, Mecatronics, Robotics; MBA;

Previous EXPERIENCE

MANDATORY (MINIMUM set of skills)

Experience on electronic hardware development or electronic hardware repair, analysis; Experience on Maintenance business as a Technician and / or an Engineer;

Experience on preparation of troubleshooting guides and all the maintenance-related productions; Experience on execution of analyses of failures (cause and effect), root cause analysis.

Experience on the identification and analysis of failures, diagnosis, troubleshooting; Experience on issuing reports and indicators;

DESIRABLE (it is a plus)

• Internship on Electronics job; Technician work on electronics; Leadership experience as RAMS, Reliability Engineer, Maintenance, Engineer / Manager functions;
• Asset management; Industry, IoT; Predictive maintenance; Industrial asset monitoring; Experience on the preparation of Maintenance plans, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance tasks;
• Experience on the preparation of Maintenance Manuals;
• Travel required : Occasionally.
