Oracle EPM (Hyperion) Lead Developer

Position Type : Full-Time Contract (40hrs / week)

Work Hours : US EST

Work Schedule : 8 hours / day (Mon-Fri)

Location : 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM)

Role :

The EPM Developer enhances and supports the client's EPM landscape of applications including planning, design and implementation of the Oracle / Hyperion suite of products which is used to support planning and forecasting processes, manage changes in master data and collect, consolidate, and report actual and planning financial data across client's Finance and Business.

The position will work with IT Leads, Business users and other IT team members to understand and evaluate functional requirements, and develop technical solutions, designs, coding, testing and support Hyperion implementation and upgrades.

Responsibilities :

1. Assist in the analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment and documentation of Oracle EPM / Hyperion suite of applications, including but not limited to Hyperion Planning, Essbase, SmartView and Hyperion Financial Reporting.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide sustainable solutions to the problem for both software and hardware issues.

3. Provide support in configuration, coding, developing of software specifications throughout the project life cycle to deliver projects on time.

4. Manage various software / hardware environments and own the installation, configuration, and maintenance of these environments.

5. Provide software engineering expertise in identifying and designing improvements to existing systems and applications.

6. Assist with the daily administrative EPM demands of the business as needed

Required Years and Area of Professional

Experience 5+ years' experience developing applications, interfaces and reports using the EPM Hyperion suite of applications.

Critical Professional Related Technical / Computer Skills

Development experience in building metadata, designing web forms, data reconciliation, building dashboards, and creating business rules.

EPM scripting knowledge, i.e. calculation script is essential.

Understanding of relational databases.

Experience in Oracle SQL.

Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts.

Strong in of data warehousing concepts, software process controls, data flows, and re-engineering.

Other Requirements

Attention to quality over quantity is critical.

Well organized and able to handle multiple concurrent tasks efficiently.

Experience with Cloud technology is a plus.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting and planning processes..

Required Certifications

Considerations will be given for EPM suite of applications certifications
