Position Overview We are looking for a talented and experiencedengineering leader to join our Consumer Group. You will build adevelopment team accountable for the product delivery and in-lifemanagement of our B2C (betterroaming) and B2B2C (API poweringrevolut, nordVPN, etc.

Highly focused on ourcustomers and determined to build and deliver a valuableproposition. Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement efficientand maintainable solutions, ensuring the best practices in softwaredevelopment.

• Lead the development of robust, scalable, andhigh-performance micro-services architecture. - Collaborate withcross-functional teams, including frontend developers, productmanagers, and designers, to translate business requirements intoscalable and efficient backend solutions.
• Drive architecturaldecisions and contribute to the overall system design. - Developand maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communicationbetween different components of our platform while ensuring APIsecurity, performance, and reliability.
• Design and optimizedatabase schemes and work closely with the database administratorsto ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Identify andaddress performance bottlenecks in the backend systems andcontinuously optimize and improve the efficiency of existing codeand systems.
• Mentor team members when needed and contribute withmeaningful reviews. Requirements - 5+ years experience in javasoftware development.
• 2+ years engineering leadership experience.- Good understanding of system architecture, cloud services (AWS)and scalable infrastructure.
• Experience with unit / integration / e2etesting (test driven development is a plus). - Proficiency withREST APIs, both in implementing and consuming the interfaces.
• Solid experience with relational databases, CI / CD flows, Git,Docker, and Kubernetes. - Excellent communication skills (fluent inEnglish, both written and spoken), with a self-motivated andautonomous mindset.
