SAP Payroll Functional Consultant

Join our Payroll Consulting Team

Our Payroll consulting team is responsible for deploying payroll outsourcing projects within time, budget and scope. We ensure readiness for our operational team to smoothly take over in a business as usual mode.

We collaborate with pre-sales, sales and functional teams to ensure successful delivery of payroll projects to our enterprise clients.

Job Purpose

As an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant, you will be key in ensuring all client configuration requirements are correct. You will have ownership for the technical and functional implementation of client projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional work-streams to provide support and guidance for data migrations and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with our clients to understand their current payroll requirements to propose effective Alight solutions
• Understanding client business issues and constraints and recommend the best solutionsCapture and document client requirements as appropriate and create the relevant work packages according the agreed signed of solutions
• Leading the Solution design, review and alignment of deliverables to ensure we deliver on-time and in-scopeEnsure that lessons learned activities from a functional and technical point of view are completedProvide deliverables and project objectives to functional and technical resources assigned to the projectDocument any deviations from alight standards and report them to the project team
• Providing subject matter expertise for all SAP payroll related technical and functional issues in the countryProvide subject matter expertise to all technical and functional resources assigned in the projectAct as the primary escalation point within the project for all project issues related to functional implementationEnsure proficiency and quality in the configuration, use and deployment of OM / PA / PY / TM modules in the project currently assigned withImplementation Standards and Thought Leadership
• Partnering with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful deliveryMentoring project resourcesSupport the Sales and Pre-Sales teams where neededWorking with payroll implementation team on the build of the system

Requirements

• Demonstrate exceptional SAP Payroll Functional and Technical implementation and configuration experience
• Have extensive experience leading a project team delivering SAP Payroll implementations for country specific clients
• Have an exceptional understanding of country specific Payroll legislation and practices
• Have experience in a consulting role within a payroll technology environment
• Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and have an eye for detail
• Be highly organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment
• Be a natural communicator and have the ability to build successful relationships with clients and teams
• Have excellent written and verbal skills in English
